SHAWN WALLIS

Born in Miami, Fl in May of 1973 into an abusive family, Shawn would find solace in creating his own world upon each city his family discovered. Several cities and many friends would come and go during his lifetime, but the abuse suffered would silently ravage his innocence. Each hour inside the life of his broken solace, he would endure verbal, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of his own family. The brutality of his Father would derail Shawn's childhood, preventing a safe transition into his teenage years. Deep within a fantasy, Shawn began writing poems for those who inspired him away from the abuse. Despite a fractured soul, he would find love inside the heart of a beautiful angel. Only 15 years old, Shawn had fallen for something other than the comfort of his own safety. Yearning for more, he would eventually fall in and out of love his entire life. Developing a cruel sense of endearment, Shawn would live without the affection of one person for more than what he deserved. Childless, abused, heartbroken, enamored, frightened, and damaged, Shawn found himself lost. Karma eventually began to reign over his life and would become subjected to the same abuse as through his childhood. Despite Shawn's sister and her circle of terroristic stalkers, he has taken a positive detour away from the madness. Today Shawn is a successful Author and General Manager of a company in Florida. Shawn resides today on Anna Maria Island, FL. with with 2 beautiful Weimaraner puppies.
