SHAWN WALLIS

Born in Miami, Fl in May of 1973 into a military family, I would find solace in creating my own world upon each city we would live in. Several cities and many friends would come and go, but the adventures became endless. Rarely a day inside my own home, I would encounter fishing, a wilderness, baseball, sports and the hardships of lost friends. It would take many years to develop a liking for writing and it was my first girlfriend at the tender age of 15 to realize that a love note could become a book. Laced with poems and perfect grammar only a 10th grade English Teacher would appreciate, I was on my way. Despite all the broken hearts, the sweat and tears of those yearning for affection did I obtain hard truths of who I was becoming. It took an endearing 10 year long relationship with one woman to prove that I was more evil than first imagined. Karma was to take a special seat beside me and for the next several years after, my punishment was deserving and cruel. Journeys into the lives of a few amazing women would curtail an invisible disguise surrounding my heart, but with a little faith and perserverence, life became fruitful in an instant. I reside today in Zephyrhills, FL. with my 2 beautiful Weimaraner puppies.
